About Kenrie
Kenrie Inc., in April of 2005, purchased the rights to be the sole OEM provider of replacement parts for machine tools for various product lines, which had been produced by Micromatic Textron. These products primarily consisted of: Micromatic Honing Machines, B&T Die-cast Equipment, B&T Trim Press Equipment, Ex-Cell-O Injection Molding Equipment, Ex-Cell-O Structural Foam Equipment and Buss Machinery Equipment. Since January 2006, Kenrie proudly offers custom engineered Honing/Microsize machines designed to process Engine Blocks, Conn-Rods, Gears (bore & face honing), Compressors, Liners, Valves, or anything that requires the honing process.
Ken Vennesland is the founder of Kenrie Inc. and had been an employee of Micromatic for 30 years. Ken started working for Micromatic as a mechanical engineer after graduating from Lake Superior State University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an Associates degree in Drafting & Design. Through the years, Ken moved throughout the company and has assisted many departments at Micromatic including machine proposal, engineering, purchasing, production control, routings, internal sales and parts pricing. His many years of experience, in all facets of the honing industry, have allowed Ken to re-vitalize a tradition in the honing industry. Kenrie is your sole source for all of your honing needs.
