KENRIE INC. is promoting a new motion control device with “State of the Art” technology as well as custom designed software to virtually control any type of horizontal or vertical motion with very high accuracy.

The Kenrie Motion Controller (KMC) is a stand-alone one or two-axis motion controller. The controller provides control for any servo system driven by a voltage or a current command signal. It can be used for hydraulic and/or electric motion control applications.

The KMC series implements a dual processor design, comprised of a 16-bit microprocessor for executing high-level motion programs and a 32-bit digital signal processor (DSP) for high speed servo control.

The KMC series offers a valuable combination of performance and ease-of-use for one and two axis systems. Smooth, precise motion boosts throughput improves quality, and extends machine life. It has the flexibility of closing the positioning loop with different types of positioning feedback devices like linear displacement transducers, incremental encoders, and resolvers.

The KMC series can be programmed through a personal computer with dedicated KMC utility software designed to operate in Microsoft Windows environment. The KMC Utility software is designed as a user-friendly development tool and is provided as a standard with the controller. With menu driven commands, all motion parameters can be viewed and changed with few simple key strokes. User programs are stored in RAM and backed-up in FLASH memory for maximum protection.
