Training

Training seminars and courses can be purchased as a supplement to the typical hands-on training normally provided with the initial machine installation. The classroom training is directed to better understand the operation of the machine. Specific training includes:

  • Technical training for operators including review of the machine, components, accessories and the machining process. Safety is stressed at all times. Subject matter is supplemented with classroom discussion and review of written material.
  • Electrical maintenance training including explanation of each pushbutton, indicator light, selector switches and process control. Subject matter is supplemented with classroom discussion and review of written material. Hands-on at the machine is performed after classroom period has been completed.
  • Mechanical maintenance training including a complete overview of auto and manual lubrication points, filter replacement, spindle alignment procedures, and common machine adjustments. Subject matter is supplemented with classroom discussion, overhead transparencies and review of written material.
  • Operation manuals and documentation for honing machines.
